Our thermocouple and RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) calibrator now comes in the \"PIE Evolution\" housing, featuring a protective rubber boot, a built-in tilt stand, 4 AA batteries, and a backlit display. In addition to this new enclosure, we have made several other product enhancements!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Calibrate thermocouple instruments with a resolution of 0.1 and 0.01 \u00b0F or \u00b0C<\/strong><br \/>\nTypes J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C, D, L (J DIN), U (T DIN), and P (Platinel): from -13.000 to 80.000 mV<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calibrate RTD instruments with a resolution of 0.1 and 0.01 \u00b0F or \u00b0C<\/strong><br \/>\nPt 10, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 ohms (3850)<br \/>\nPt 100 ohms (alpha = 3902, 3916, 3926)<br \/>\nCu 10 and 50 ohms, and Ni 120 ohms<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calibrate with confidence<\/strong><br \/>\nResolution down to 0.01 \u00b0F or \u00b0C; 0.2\u00b0 precision<br \/>\nCold-junction compensation with an accuracy of 0.05\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verify recorders used for Heat Treating Uniformity Surveys and perform System Accuracy Tests<\/strong><br \/>\nThe PIE 525B can meet the requirements for Field Test Instruments under the AMS 2750 standard, when certified by an accredited laboratory.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diagnose RTD probes and instruments<\/strong><br \/>\nAutomatic detection of 2-, 3-, or 4-wire connections allows for the identification of disconnected wires (open circuit).
