Description

Accuracy You Can Trust

Both Ultrameter II models deliver performance to ±1% of reading (not just full scale). This high level of accuracy is achieved through advanced four-electrode conductivity cell technology, a unique pH/ORP sensor, and powerful microprocessor-based circuitry. With readings up to 9999, the full four-digit LCD display ensures levels of resolution never before possible in such affordable instruments. Factory calibrated with NIST-traceable solutions, each Ultrameter II can be supplied with traceability certification and NIST-traceable solutions for definitive calibration.

Innovative Engineering

The Ultrameter II is a prime example of how high-tech engineering can greatly simplify and streamline a task. Whether in a lab, industrial plant or remote field, simply:

  • Fill the cell vessel
  • Press a parameter key
  • Take the measurement

Temperature compensation and range selection are both fast and automatic. The Ultrameter II is a true one-handed instrument.

Easy to Calibrate

All calibrations are quickly performed by pressing the ▲ or ▼ keys to match our NIST-traceable standard solution. When calibration is required, display prompts simplify pH calibration and ensure that the correct buffer is used. Additionally, all parameters (except the factory-set temperature) have an internal electronic adjustment that can be used for field calibration and as a life check of the pH/ORP sensor.

NEW! FAC FCE TM Readings

Myron L® Company’s FCE function quickly and accurately indicates FAC by measuring ORP, the chemical characteristic of chlorine that directly reflects its effectiveness, cross-referenced with pH. DPD kits and colorimeters can tell the user the FAC value of the sample in the test tube, but because the chemistry of that sample is quite different from the source water being analyzed, the results are inaccurate relative to actual disinfectant potency. Myron L® Company’s FCE function measures the actual, unaltered chemistry of the source water, including instantaneous changes in that chemistry.

High Performance at Low Cost

Beyond their affordable purchase price, the ultra-fast, ultra-simple, and ultra-powerful Ultrameter IIs save time and money. Measure for measure, the Ultrameter IIs give you a better return on your investment than any other portable instrument. To see for yourself, contact your distributor or Myron L® Company today.

ULTRAMETER™ II Features and Benefits:

  • 3 standard solutions for greater accuracy in a variety of applications.
  • Fully automatic temperature compensation.
  • User-adjustable temperature compensation (up to 9.99%/°C) also allows TC to be disabled for applications requiring uncompensated measurements.
  • User-adjustable conductivity-to-TDS conversion ratio for greater accuracy when measuring solutions not contained in the microprocessor.
  • Automatic shutoff maximizes 9V battery life to over 100 hours/5,000 tests.
  • Non-volatile microprocessor provides data backup, even when the battery is changed. This ensures that all calibrations and memory data will be retained.
  • The extended life pH/ORP sensor is user replaceable in the field.
