CALIBRATE THE DETECTOR with MGC pump once a year
Other multi-gas detectors require calibration every 1 to 3 months. The MGC pump can operate for 12 months without calibration. This is an additional advantage of infrared detection technology, as infrared is insensitive to substances toxic to pellistor sensors, such as silicone or H₂S.
