The SJ-200 Series portable surface roughness testers, which have contributed to industrial development and technological advancement through precision measurement, have evolved even further. While maintaining outstanding portability and ease of use in the field, they now feature a touchscreen for intuitive operation. Equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, they can perform measurements in locations without access to power, providing approximately 1,000 measurement cycles per charge. Wireless and paperless operation is possible with the Mitutoyo U-WAVE-TIB wireless data transmitter. This user-friendly instrument offers the compatibility and versatility required to meet a wide range of manufacturing needs.

• Complies with the new ISO 21920 standard.
• The built-in 2.8-inch backlit color graphic display provides excellent readability, enhanced visibility, and easy operation, even in low-light environments. The LCD display can be freely rotated between portrait and landscape orientation and adapted for both left- and right-handed users.
• Even while wearing gloves, the SJ-220 can still be operated using its physical buttons when the touchscreen cannot be used.
• A full battery charge provides approximately 1,000 measurements.
• The optional U-WAVE-TIB transmitter enables wireless display of measurement results, measurement condition setup, and bidirectional communication.
