A pitot tube is a pressure measurement instrument used to measure fluid flow velocity. Kimo offers a wide range of high-quality and accurate Type L Pitot tubes, as per the AFNOR NF ISO 3966 standard.

Description

TYPES

  • L-type Pitot tubes: with ellipsoidal head
  • L-type Pitot tubes: One total pressure port and six static pressure holes. Stainless steel body
  • L-type Pitot tubes with TCK: with ellipsoidal head
  • L-type Pitot tubes with TCK: One total pressure port and six static pressure holes
  • L-type Pitot tubes with TCK: Integrated jacketed K thermocouple probe with connection cable. Stainless steel body

MEASUREMENT DETAILS

  • Units: m³/s, m/s or according to the measuring device
  • Operating temperature: 0 to 600°C as standard and up to 1000°C as an option

MEASUREMENT RANGES

  • Speed: 3.00 m/s ... 85.00 m/s
  • Static pressure: 2 bar maximum in static
  • Overall accuracy of the measuring system: 1% of the measurement + accuracy of the pressure sensor (for an alignment with the fluid flow axis of ±10°)
  • Standards: AFNONFX10-112. Annex of 14.09.77. In accordance with the international standard ISO 3966.
