The dial displays traditional barometric nomenclature (showing "Rain," "Variation," and "Much"), along with measurements on a 7.6 cm (28.5 in. to 31.5 in.) mercury scale. Accurate to ±0.16 in. (0.4 cm) mercury. Adjustable to 2,060 m (6,500 ft). The precision German movement is displayed behind a cut-out dial. The resettable hand tracks barometric pressure changes.
