Multifunctional process calibrator

PIE 820

Multifunction Process Calibration Source – mA • V • TC • Ohms • RTD • Hz

Description

6-Function Multifunction Calibration Source

Lighten Your Toolbox

This pocket-sized calibration device is a superior replacement for single-function devices.

Intuitive Operation: Its two-click EZ-DIAL menu simplifies setup compared to other multifunction calibration sources. It uses the same menus as the PIE Evolution single-function calibration sources. On-screen icons indicate where to connect the test leads.

Use it as a milliamp and voltage calibration source.

  • Source: 0.00 to 24.00 mA, 0.00 to 10.25 V DC, and 0.00 to 80.00 mV.
  • Reading: 24.00 mA, 0.00 to 10.25 V DC, 0.0 to 60.00 V DC, and 0.00 to 80.00 mV.
  • Simulates 2-wire transmitters.
  • Power transmitters and loops with the built-in 24 V power supply.
  • Simplify HART connections with the built-in 250-ohm resistor.
  • Direct calibration in Temperature (°C and °F).

    The PIE 820 is compatible with your instruments. Thermocouples of types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C, D, L (J DIN), U (T DIN), and P (Platinum II)

  • RTD Pt probes: 100 Ω (3850, 3902, 3916, 3926) and 1000 Ω (3850)
  • Copper probes: 10 and 50 Ω; Nickel probes: 110 and 120 Ω
  • Flow and Vibration System Verification

    • Generation and Readout Rates up to 2000 CPM (counts per minute), 999.99 Hz, 9999.9 Hz, and 20 kHz
    • Troubleshooting Loop and Wiring

      • Built-in continuity tester to check connection continuity
      • Clear display

        • Backlight for optimal visibility even in dark areas
        • Quick setup of three outputs, with automatic steps and ramps

          • Quick and easy setting of any value. Adjustable EZ-DIAL setting; Store three output settings for instant recall with the EZ-CHECK switch.

Choose between 2, 3, 5, and 11 steps to automatically increment the output in 100%, 50%, 25%, or 10% increments.

Select the RAMP function for a gradual increase in output from zero to the measurement range.

            Set the step/ramp duration to suit your system: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, or 60 seconds.

            Includes:

Rubber case, deluxe hands-free carrying case, and mV/RTD test leads (020-0820).
