Description
The Raytec CI non-contact infrared pyrometer is compact and easy to install. The CI module’s on-board electronics are protected by a rugged IP 65 (NEMA-4) stainless steel enclosure, which allows the sensor to be operated without cooling at ambient temperatures up to 70 °C (160 °F). Because the IC module has the same 50 Ohm output impedance as a thermocouple, it operates in most controllers, displays and transmitters with high accuracy – and without offset errors – when used in conjunction with the thermocouple breakage protection circuit.
