Cooling towers

RTR and STW

Reotemp cooling towers protect pressurized instruments from extremely hot process fluids without the hassle of remote instrument mounting.

Description

They are specifically designed to be mounted above a membrane seal or to be screwed directly into the process. Reotemp’s unique design can reduce process temperatures up to 700°F (370°C)

  • Cooling towers can be screwed directly into the process fluid in applications where the fluid is viscous enough to flow through a 3 mm ID tube without clogging. For optimum performance, mount the cooling tower above a diaphragm seal.
  • If mounting between the pressure instrument and the diaphragm seal, use a 3-digit mounting code in the diaphragm seal part number.
  • Pigtail traps or diaphragm seals must be used for steam service.
