Description
This is the preferred portable durometer for pipeline coating inspectors. Accurate measurements can be obtained in any position.
The instrument features a non-glare, numbered dial with bold, easy-to-read numbers. The durometer comes standard with a Max Hold needle that maintains the maximum reading until reset. The case tapers to a 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm base for better access in confined spaces. A removable top knob (8-32 thread) allows for easy handheld use or mounting on a stand.
The Model 409 meets or exceeds current ASTM D2240 standards.
