Analog Shore A Durometer designed for measuring natural rubber, elastomers, fluoroelastomers, neoprene, silicone, EPDM, Buna-N, latex, ECH, polyethylene, polyurethane, Viton®, Santoprene, SBR, vinyl, butyl, soft plastics, felt, and leather.

Description

The PTC® Model 306L meets or exceeds current ASTM D2240 specifications. Accurate measurements can be obtained in all positions. The instrument features a non-reflective aluminum dial with bold, easy-to-read numbers. The durometer comes standard with a Max Hold needle that holds the maximum reading. A top knob with 8-32 threads allows for easy handheld operation and attachment to test stands or the Model 441 constant deadweight attachment of 1 kg. The Model 441 allows for even more accurate measurements.

Each instrument is individually calibrated. A test block and a sturdy carrying case are included with the durometer.
