The Casella CEL-246 series sound level meter has the same features as the CEL-240 model, with the addition of advanced functionalities such as time-integrated average (Leq for European standards and Lavg for American standards) measurement. The Casella CEL-246 series sound level meter is frequently used in environments where simple noise level monitoring is required for compliance purposes.
This user-friendly instrument features a high-resolution graphic display. Thanks to its advanced digital technology, the 246 series sound level meter offers absolute reliability, ensuring optimal accuracy and performance, all in a compact and robust design.
This sound level meter has a simple user interface with two programmable buttons. This makes it very intuitive to use, and configuration changes are retained for the next time the meter is turned on. To accurately measure sound level variations, the CEL-246 provides instantaneous and peak dB levels with A or C frequency weighting, as well as fast, slow, and impulse time weighting. The 246 measures time-integrated average values: Leq for European standards and Lavg for American standards. The CEL-246 is also available in a recording version, storing historical data with a memory capacity of 419,000 points.
The CEL-246 sound level meter is compatible with the Casella CEL-120 calibration source.
Like other models, the CEL-246 series sound level meter operates on three AAA batteries, providing approximately 35 hours of battery life.
