INTRINSIC SAFE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER

ISDP

Programmable differential pressure transmitter, 4-20 mA, NEMA 4X, 0.5% accuracy

Description

The ISDP series differential pressure transmitter offers a 4-20 mA process output, a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure, and a large programmable LCD for displaying pressure, velocity, or flow rate. The ISDP provides simplified programming via a Menu key, allowing selection of: safety level; engineering units (imperial or metric); operating mode (pressure, velocity, or flow rate); K-factor for use with various Pitot tubes and flow sensors; conduit diameter (circular or rectangular) for volumetric flow rate measurement; and much more. The ISDP series differential pressure transmitter is powered by its two-wire loop (10-35 V DC) via its integrated four-pin M-12 male connector. The ISDP offers 0.5% of full scale accuracy over measurement ranges from 0.25 inches of water column to 100 inches of water column. as well as bidirectional models up to 10 inches of water column. These features make the ISDP series differential pressure transmitter the ideal instrument for monitoring pressures or airflows in Class I, Division I, Groups A, B, C and D; Class II, Division I, Groups E, F and G hazardous areas; Class III, Division I.

Applications

  • Pressure control in hazardous areas
  • Flow control in hazardous environments

Advantages/Features

  • The NEMA 4X enclosure provides optimal protection in harsh environments, allowing
  • outdoor monitoring or use in dusty or particulate areas.
  • The easy-to-read LCD screen provides immediate local alerts, enabling rapid corrective action to prevent the problem from spreading.
  • Intrinsically safe for use in specified hazardous areas, it meets specifications where pressure transmission and safety are paramount.
  • The password-protected configuration menu ensures that untrained personnel cannot access the powerful functions of measurement of this device.
