The DT-1236L is a combination instrument of a photo tachometer and a contact tachometer.
- Photo tachometer:
10 to 99,999 rpm, resolution 0.1 rpm (< 1,000 rpm). - Contact tachometer:
0.5 to 19,999 rpm, resolution 0.01 m/min. (< 100 m/min.).

- The last value, max. value and min. value. will be automatically stored in the memory and can be retrieved by pressing the memory call button
