Description
It accepts signals from wind vanes, such as the Comptus A75-302 potentiometer sensor, and from anemometers with AC generator, such as the Comptus A75-104.
The translator can be supplied in several copies according to the client's needs. It can be mounted on rail for installation in an existing housing. It can be delivered in a NEMA 12 JIC steel housing for indoor use or in a NEMA 4X fiberglass housing when weather protection is required.
The transmitter converts sensor information into 4-20 mA signals proportional to wind speed and direction. The systems are available with outputs of 4-20 mA, 0-1 mA, 0-1 V or 0-5 V. All systems can be supplied with 12-24 V DC, 24 V AC, 120 V AC or 230 V AC.
The standard configuration includes the translation board with mounting rail for installation in an existing housing. The use of enclosures is recommended to protect the system from corrosion, dust and rain. If necessary, the electrical connection to the sensor is made by terminal block. A terminal block is provided for connection to the power supply.
