Description
The FCS flexible control system is a sophisticated, high-performance controller offering multi-channel configurations for monitoring toxic, combustible, and refrigerant gases. It provides versatile control features for commercial and light industrial applications in non-hazardous and non-explosive environments. The FCS is designed to receive inputs from digital and/or analog transmitters and/or peripherals (in various combinations) via Modbus® RTU RS-485 or a 4-20 mA analog input.
The FCS is available in 4, 8, 32, and 128-channel versions, with Modbus® RTU RS-485 or BACnet® MS/TP RS-485 WAN outputs for communication with a building management system (BMS).
All models include four internal dry-contact SPDT relays with field-configurable tripping times and thresholds, a color resistive LCD touchscreen with an LED panel displaying channel alarm status, relay status, and faults, an intuitive password-protected menu system, enhanced control logic, prioritization/zoning functions, a USB port for firmware updates and data logging, and an integrated door audible alarm. The FCS offers flexible configuration for analog outputs and supports 4-20 mA variable frequency drives and Modbus®.
Value-added options include analog inputs and/or outputs, an integrated strobe light, a lockable door, a manual override switch, and an integrated weatherproof door audible alarm.

FCS-M models offer a Modbus® RTU RS-485 digital output signal for LAN and WAN communications.
FCS-B models offer a BACnet® MS/TP RS-485 output signal for WAN communications (for communication with a building management system).
