Description
The cGas gas detector is a one- or two-channel digital gas detection transmitter that offers greater flexibility at a lower cost through custom sensor combinations and specialized options to add only the functionality you need. Ideal for monitoring toxic, combustible, and refrigerant gases in non-hazardous (non-explosive) light commercial and industrial environments.
The output is user-selectable on-site, with a choice of BACnet® or Modbus® protocols for communication with a controller or building management system (BMS). Pre-calibrated sensors, featuring Plug & Play Smart Sensor technology, allow for quick and easy replacement.
Powered by 24 V DC or AC with ground reference, the cGas digital gas detector is equipped with an LCD display, temperature compensation, thermal reset fuses, and its firmware and configuration can be updated on-site via a USB connection. Available options include relative humidity and temperature monitoring, low-temperature operation, relays, and splash protection.
The cGas digital gas detector comes in a standard, water- and dust-tight, corrosion-resistant ABS/polycarbonate enclosure with a secure hinged door. With the optional factory-installed splash guard, the enclosure meets IP54 standards and provides protection against splashing water.
